Luckily right before I was going to buy it, it went on sale 20% off! Only been a week, but the box seems well built and the extra features like the upgraded handles and the top rail compare with others far more expensive. Love the rugged look with the rail and the handles and even the locks/keys seem so much more reliable and heavy duty than the box with paddle handles I had on my old truck. Not sure I'd put something as heavy as a fully loaded cooler on top, but would have no problem with a large bag or something similar. The extra space it offers for trips or large loads is helpful. I do have a couple of tipsSome mentioned having to mount the box a little further back in the bed to keep the rail from hitting the back window when opened all the way. That is true, but only maybe 1.5-2" or so. However since I did not want to give up even that much additional bed space, I mounted flush against the cab side of the bed and used a chain to only allow the lid to open just far enough without hitting the glass. Still have plenty of room to get stuff in and out no problem. Also to keep the tray from sliding back and forth while driving (which you can hear), I just used those felt pads you put on the bottom of chair legs stuck to the side rails to hold the tray in place.
